| i find a lot of strategy in them, but be prepared for a lot of bad beats. i personally enjoy them because like you said they are short and fun but also i find them full of bad players and if you play it right you should profit off them. |

I especially like them since they can somewhat resemble final tables in MTTs, as far as stack to blind or starting pot ratio go. So I'm able to practice blind steals and allin pushes and what not. I HATE turbo sngs but I really like the sups. This doesn't seem very logical to me but I feel like strategy comes back into play in the sups. where as I feel strategy is less a part of the turbos. Turbos is luck. All luck. Maybe I say that 'cause I suck at them.

| well turbos are jus like anything else.. you have to understand the set up.. and find the best way to play it.. ya know.. the strategy.. it jus takes sum time.. i prefer turbos.. but i love to play the sups from time to time.. taking advantage of bad players makes for a good way to profit after a tough session.. =] |

I've played about 1000 of them (stopped posting results for a while, though), and I really like them. There's some info in this thread.

I think they are fun to play once in awhile.
Usually I just play them when I don't think I'll have time for a real game, or if I'm just bored and want to play for a few minutes. I don't think I'd ever play them seriously to build up a BR or anything, but they can be fun. |

| Thanks for the tips cubbies. I've only played a few so far but they are fun and could be very profitable. |

I've been destroying these since I noticed them. I've probably only done a hundred or so, but I'm up $60 at the $3.80 level -- this after a very, very long interval of breakeven play at standard sit n' goes.
I generally play these pretty TAG. The shoving ranges that others mentioned sounded about right to me, but these things are extremely situational: two rotations of TAG and mediocre hands or overactive play by others and you're just about obliged to shove ATC. I just try to play generally sound end-game poker. |

| i've played a couple hundred and got frustrated with them. Too many beats and just ran horrible. They are nice for full tilt points and such since you can play quite a few at one time and they are short. But, unless you plan to play them exclusively, i don't think you can make much money off of them long term. You need quite a large sample size to find out if you can beat them because of the variance. |

I like these short, easy to play and even I can win sometimes.
My favorite thing to do is start with the $3.80. Try to win it or get second in two of them the move up to the $7.50. Win one or second in two then move up to the next and so on. The longest stretch I went on was starting in the $3.50 then won consecutively up to the $28 where I got 2nd or third don't remember which, but it made me a tidy little profit. |

thats a tough way to go.. long term its smarter to play a bunch of $3.80 build up until you have 20 buy-ins (or more) at the next level then move up.. |

20 buy-ins isn't nearly enough for the super turbos imo. |

| I'm not trying to make a living off of it. It's just a fun little challenge for me. Just something I like to do when I get bored. |
