Why bother picking it all apart? I had enough with that other dunce. I thought the 1% part was amusing.

If a staff member can only have account priviliges like "us" the normal players and users I dont see why not - they will end up being "normal" and have no advantages over anyone else so i dont see what the harm in it is.

I would surely assume that any super user accounts (if any) are closelty monitored or have passwords changed frequently to try and prevent te stuff that happened on AP and UB happening again.

'If' is the key word. Also, I would say that its never safe to 'assume' anything about anyone. Money makes people do funny & not so funny things you know.

One things for certain, I wouldn't bet my cash on someone else's honesty.

Fair enough - if thats the case, you would be as well not playing online poker at all. Theres no point in living in paranois - if you put it that way, for all you know the next time you sit down at a table, "kidpoker1982" sitting next to you could actually be John doe, a customer services Advisor for FT, but you will never know. I would imagine like in any business, staff who get the priviliges of using the business facilities would be monitored to make sure they dont take advantage.

I guess if you stick to the smaller stakes, you should probably be safe.
As far as 'staff who get the privelage of using the facilities' goes, it is still a conflict of interest i.m.o.
And there is a point to 'living in paranois' as you put it, 'paranois' has kept street smart folks like myself from being mugged in a dark alley, or robbed at an atm machine at night.
Any 'legitimate' casino should not allow its staff to actually gamble in its own facility. Its just good old fashioned common sense.

I meant paranoia obviously. I used to work in McDonalds, and I bought my food there also, I worked for a double glazing company and used their services, and I work in the oil industry now and I buy parts through my employer that they use and service for my own gain - so surely these are the same thing and there are no problems with them?

I get why people would not want emplioyees to play, but if they are off duty and just wanting a good time, whats the harm in it really - there have no advantage over you. Talking of super user accounts - if thats why you wouldnt want them tio play then theres no point playing online full stop.

I'm not sure what you mean by your examples either. You woud be as well stay indoors forever as well.

Those are really not very good comparisons. At all of those jobs, your getting a discount on these items is a nice little perk of working there. There is no real advantage in allowing Full Tilt employees to play on their site aside from a little more rake. However, to another customer, this looks fishy. Whether their suspicions are valid or not does not matter, it just makes good business sense to not allow employees to gamble on the site.

I couldn't have said it better myself Nositi.

Its obviously rigged, thats why you lose, its got nothing to do with the fact that you are not as good at poker as you think you are, and that you can't win every hand even when you are a favourite.
