OK - so non-words are becoming part and parcel of everyday conversations and seem to be quite the vogue at the moment.
Examples:-
Huggles - a cross between a hug and a cuddle.
Batman - a thief. Cant go anywhere without Robin.
Muffin Top- the roll of flesh that hangs over a pair of jeans that are just too tight.
Flubber cart - a motorised cart for someone who is simply too fat to walk.
Monkey bath - So hot that when you lower yourself in, you go Ooh! Ooh! Ah! Ah! Ah!
Picasso Bum - A woman whos underwear is so tight it looks like she has four buttocks.
Testiculating - Waving your arms around and talking Bo//ocks.
Essex facelift - where a bun or ponytail is pulled so tight it gives the wearer the botox look.
Smeric - When someone returns food or drink to the fridge with less than a spoonful/mouthful left this amount is known as a smeric.
Bookies Pen - When you are extremly cold this is what your old chap turns into.
If anyone has any other Back Yard Colloquialisms please feel free to add.
Thankyou for your time. |

You're going to have to translate mushies into American. |

Halluciagenic mushrooms that grow, for free on the side of the road.

You're welcome. I wish I had them on vinyl. Unfortunately I wasn't alive to buy them new, haha. |

The Cure is one of my favorites, but I could never get into Depeche Mode.
I've probably heard every British band that started between 1977 and 1985. |
