How do I find out who is going to be at each tournament so I can make my picks? Or, where do I go to find out who showed up at the tournament and make my picks from there? Can you change picks during the start of the tournament? Any help would be "greatly" appreciated.....
Thanks!

Your picks are locked at the time the tourney starts. Meanwhile players can show up and join the tournament for the first few levels. So in practice you have to guess who will play what as well as who will make the money.
Now in theory you could edit your picks right up to the last moment and watch some site like PokerNews which sometimes discusses early registrations, but that is dangerous. If you are editing your picks at the moment when the picks are locked, you end up with no picks at all!
You just have to deal with the fact that this guessing game is, to my knowledge, not easily gamed. |

| whats worked for me is going onto cardplayer.com and going through the player database, reading profiles and finishes. If the profile reads "known as a limit holdem expert" or you see that that certain player has cashed in a decent amount of limitHE events then you might wanna put him or her as an A player in your pick. The rest is from what you have observed over the past few months. Who seems to be on a hot streak so far? Who haven't u seen or heard of in a while? Its all about making intelligent guesses and hoping they actually show up for the event. For instance from my observations I've noticed David Benyamine likes to play omaha hilo and is successful at it so I put him as an A player in the Omaha hilo championship and he took it down. On the other hand Nick Frangos is known as a good stud player but he hasn't shown his face or hasn't played well in any stud events so I lost with that pick. It takes a lot of research but if you are willing to put in the time, like at the poker table, then you could walk away with some prizes. GL static. |
