Kinda. It's a bit of an in joke thing that would be tough to explain. I just use it now without even thinking about it.

As far as the hand goes, that seems like a pretty annoying spot. I don't feel like you're ahead a whole lot there. I'd be thinking he'd show up with something like 88-JJ maybe, or ATs. A flat call on a flop that dry is just nasty.

these constant hands against like 9/7 and 10/5 etc. players are tilting me so much

6 max is for wimps who can't handle full ring imo.

+1

I don't know how many of these hands I'm thinking you should call or fire another bluff out, only to look at your reads on them and they have the word "nit" tattooed across their forehead.

6max is so much more profitable. All of the loose donkeys go there to donk it up. And since there's less people at the table, its easier to isolate them. There's just so many pros to 6max over FR. You need to eventually take a shot at it, especially if you want to move up. 100NL+ FR is just a nit fest from what I hear.

FWIW, I made the switch to 6-max in April and I thank God every day that I did. Took me a while, but it's just way better for any half decent thinking player.

Anyways, back to the hand itself, I actually like the 2nd barrel here. In my full ring experience, you will see 10,9s and 5,6s here a lot. They breathe the donkey anthem, "I put him on AK" in this spot; however, just in case, they don't want to play a big pot so they go into pot control. The king is a beautiful card as since they often have convinced themselves that you have AK on the flop, well, now they're beat and will pull the woe is me routine with their great misfortune of getting drawn out on.

I really think you should give it a shot. The games are soooo much looser and much easier to profit from.

That was kind of a joke BTW. I'm not planning on switching but I might play some 6 max at some point.
