How many "bad players" do you want at your table when playing poker?
I have found that I would only like 1-3 bad players when playing limit or else the game is a crap shoot. However, at no limit, I can handle many more bad players!
Let me know your thoughts.

| I want as many as there are opponents at my table, meaning 5 or less since I play 6max and HU. |

I want everyone to be a bad player. In fact, I'd like to select who I want to play against and if someone talented comes onto the table, I want to be able to kick them off.
Duh, what do you expect the answer to be? |

I'm intrigued as to why anyone would vote to play against good players rather than bad ones.
If I played chess for money I'd rather be up against, say, David Beckham than Gary Kasparov. |

Funny, that's exactly what I do want my opponents to do. |

To some degree I would like players not to be so bad that they are unpredictable. That is, I want their actions to make sense -- sense in a way that I know how best to react. I think the bad predictable players are much more exploitable -- and thus profitable -- than bad unpredictable players.
And so I think when people complain about bad players and want to play with "good" players, this is the concept they are getting at. They don't really want to play with good players, they want to play with bad, predictable players. |

bad, unpredictable players are the most profitable types out there. they're just a lot higher variance. |
