This seems like a strange, passive line for you. Was it some kind of experiment? Seems way different than your other posts.

I have no idea where we stand here. I think you need to raise either his strangely strong preflop raise, or his strangely weak flop bet. By the time we get to the inexplicable min-bet OTT, we've invested 17 BB and still have no idea where we are. We're either crushing or getting crushed. Take your pick and act accordingly.

I'm a donk, so let's look at what the other folks have to say.

A downswing turned me into a nit.

This guy seems like he's one of those maniac players that's all over the friggin' place, and switches his play to every extreme.

I don't know what to make of his play, but I don't think he's very strong.

As played, I'm stacking off OTT if he shoves. If he's got A4, so be it. I just don't like how you played this hand at all, but I can only assume that you were trying to see a trouble-free flop so that you could allow him to dig a deep hole postflop. When he made the min-bet OTT, it screws up that whole theory, as well as the chances of having him fire another shell into your dominating hand.

Is that his standard PF raise size and is he basically raising the same range regardless of position? If the answer to those questions is yes, I'm 3-betting PF. Postflop I think your line is fine though, unless you know he'll stack off with a lot of worse hands on that flop.

No it was not his standard raise. This was the first time he made a weird raise like that. I didn't play enough hands with him to know if he was raising the same range regardless of position.
