| Is there some sort of action for people who enter tournaments bet big to win a couple hands and then leave and hope they dont get blinded out? I find that an extremely annoying part of the tournaments. I love playing them besides that. Anyone else feel this way? |

| Play for real money and you won't see this. And no, building a big stack early then coasting to the money by folding every hand is a perfectly legitimate, albeit boring, strategy. |

I have to agree that it is an important part of tournaments -- to leave when you are ahead and maybe "take a break". I play in a weekly tournament where the top ten players all cash the same amount. Often, when you build a huge chip lead when you are down to 13 left, it is wise to walk away. Too many people do not have the restraint to fold good hands and let someone else bust out.

...really needed that laugh....
if its wise to walk away maybe it would have been even wiser to not even start to play,....this way you really, really really can't loose any chips |
