Over the last day I've been playing some micro stakes Holdem sit and gos on Doyles Room and I've never found such value for money! I found I had $1 left in my account there and looked for the smallest buy-in of anything I could play.

Anyway I found some $0.09 + 0.02 10 player sit and go's. Now being that it cost me a Dime to enter, and with 6 minute blind levels, I thought this would be the easist poker cahs ever, I was wrong. After 27 minutes of play, we just lost the 2nd player (8 remaining) and blind levels were rising. After an hour we still had 5 players left and then we got to the bubble.

You would have thought it was the WSOP Main event bubble, the three players left with me played very tight, not only that it was exciting beyond belief. I nicked some blinds when I could and there were so many suckouts! First my KJs lost to K10 off and about 6/7 minutes later I was the shortstack and pushed with wired 6's (blinds were massive now). I came up against QQ and hit my two outer!

The bubble lasted over 12 minutes, it was incredible. In the end I finished in 3rd after 1 hour and 18 minutes. My overall profit was $0.07 yet it lasted that long and was fantastic.

For the players out there who play to win and have fun but don't posses a huge bankroll I would recomend micro stake sit and go's on your chosen site. Great fun and you get incredible value on your money. Smile

I think cash games are a better way to go. The rake on the micro games is tough to beat. .09+.02 is 22% rake. Here at Fullltilt, the rake on the smallest game is 25%.

True, however its easier to lose cash quicker in ring games, especially if you start off short stacked. It depends how quickly you want to build your bankroll i think.
