Freerolls are good, all of them are at 0330? Nothing on the regular money schedule except mid morning, mid afternoon, and very late night.
Why aren't there any during the evening hours. No wonder no one plays in them, no one is awake or we're all at work.
I wanna play, but I'm not going to miss work to do it. |

Its a circular argument - no one plays because there are too few games at inconvienent hours but they have few games at off hours because no one plays.
It sucks! |

Kind of like: Why doesn't ABC run the films of the French New Wave instead of Desperate Housewives?
Why did McDonald's stop running ads for their apple/walnut salad?
Razz is the apple/walnut salad in a Big Mac world. It's good for you to learn to play it, but the people want what the people want. And FTP has to give the people what they want, not force feed them what is good for them. |

| You are absolutely correct - if this were a B&M casino with very limited resources. The other point is that FTP is the only online poker room (that I know of) that offers Razz so most of the serious Razz players come here. I can't even play Razz in any of the card rooms around me (and I'm in LA so that's a lot) so I have no choice but FTP. |

Based on my staying up late (see time of this post), the way to get interest is to get a pro in the tourney. Chris Ferguson plays the 3:30 freeroll a lot and it fill ups very quickly when he's in it. So, if they ran one at a reasonable hour, I'm sure it would fill.
However, be careful what you wish for because, at least in the freeroll, it also means that there are a bunch of really, really bad players in the game. Plus, a whole crew of people who play for 20 minutes and decide Razz is "too hard" or "too boring" and leave the tables. Trust me on how bad they are, because I'm still at best a modestly bad razz player and I cashed in the Saturday night freeroll. Although, I am proud of my 7th, I know that luck plus even worse opponents played more of a role than it should have if I were decent at the game.

Hi all
I get the same trouble from here in the uk. Tournys are always timed at the most inconvienient time for work.
Do you think they forget about the players from different time zones.
It would be nice if they organised events based on where we are all from. well time wise..
Like last message at best a medioca razz player but i do love it.. Plenty in demo to go at but not a lot in real.
I will have to look out for the freeroll you mentioned i havent noticed it b4
im probably in bed when its on lol
regards to all phill |

| While it might be a headache for the scheduling folks, no ONE time will work for everyone. But a rotating schedule throughout the week (7 days, 7 different times) might serve the purpose. Just a thought. |

there was a time they had a different $1 tourney every night at 8. I think tuesdays was razz. I liked that.
They could have 3-4 rotating schedules, one for Europe, east coast, west coast and Aussie's. Everyone could get a shot at their favorite tourney at least once a week. |
