Can I cash a FTP check in Ohio, Kentucky or even Indiana?
I cant seem to get a bank transfer approved. Since they declined my bank transfer I have to wait till June 3rd just to try again to see if I had a typo in my routing number or something...which is freakin retarded. So I am just going to try to cash a check.
My brother got a check from FTP and he tried to cash it at a check cashing place but they were unable to verify the money so he wasnt able to cash it. He deposited the check into his bank account but he has to wait up to 7 days just to find out if it cleared.
I cant request a check and then find out a week or two from now that I wont be able to cash it....so does anyone know...
Can I cash a FTP check in Ohio, Kentucky or even Indiana? Has anyone had any success for any of these states?
Please help... |

you cant just cash any ole check in any ole bank..........it has to be at the bank it was drawn on to get cash.....otherwise you need an account and deposit it or have enough in your account to cover it if it bounces..this isnt a FT check...its any check.
What state it is has noting to do with it actually. |

If you receive a check from Wachovia or Nevada State Bank for example, then you would want to cash the check at one of these branches. But you would want to bring 2 forms of ID. Your license and a credit card
You can deposit the check in your bank account and yes you may have to wait a certain time for it to clear
Or you can cash it at a "check cashing place" and if its an in-state check then it will be verified in 10 minutes during business hours, and if its out of state then it will take 1 business day (or same day). But be aware that you will need to pay a fee for this, which ranges with the amount of the check. Usually around 5%. |

Ok, thank you all for your responses.
The reason I thought I would have a problem depositing the check into my bank is because party poker checks were denied so I thought Full Tilt checks might be as well. Party Pokers were denied because my bank does not allow international routing numbers. Since these FT checks are coming from the states it should be fine. I will request a check now.
Thanks again. |

I cant imagine why anyone would do business with a bank that dose not want international checks,or any checks for that matter.( assuming they are good ) |

| I had so many problems with full tilts checks it is not even funny. We already got lawyers involved because now the checks are not clearing and bouncing. I have a zero tolerance policy for checks that bounce from a company because my money didnt bounce when i deposited so they shouldnt bounce when i withdrawl. |

Are you saying your withdraw checks from FTP bounced? That is the first time I have heard that. Anyone has the same issue? Checks for me are so far so good. Can you give a bit more details on how many checks that have bounced? Did you contact Support and what did they tell you? |
