The Chicago Bulls get the number one lottery pick, discuss.
sacramento won't be getting Beasley. |

| Do you think Chicago passes on Beasly, rob? If so, do you guys snag him at #2? If not, who does Miami pick up or what's their move? |

Chicago is taking Beasley, no doubt. Their lack of a post presence has been their biggest weakness since they traded Curry (as much as I hate to admit that). On top of that, they already have Hinrich, a guy who could still put up some solid numbers with some talent around him.
PS - I screamed like a little girl when they first said that Chicago would get a top three pick. I screamed at an even higher pitch when I saw that Chicago would get a top two pick. My neighbors must've gone deaf when they heard me scream when it was revealed Chicago won the lottery.
The NBA draft lottery: where amazing happens.

| I think the Bulls take Rose at #1. They desprately need a point guard and Rose being from Chicago may help things too. |

this.
they'll probably move hinrich, and draft Rose to become more of a "running" team. Could you imagine what kind of havoc a team of Rose, BG, Thabo, Deng and Thomas would cause in the East with Nocioni and Noah and whoever they get back for Hinrich ready to run and gun as well. You guys could be Warriors/Suns - lite and put up points like its nothing. I think the pick will most likely be a pick that decides which type of team they will become. |

I think the pick depends on who is hired as their coach. If the coach wants to implement a high-tempo system, then yes, Rose makes sense. If the Bulls go for somebody who likes to grind it out, then they probably lean towards Beasley.
Either way, it's a win-win.
BTW, what is Miami planning on doing with their pick? I hear they only want Rose, and if they don't get that they plan on trading it. Is that true? |
