Last time I played a charity tourney with Watkinson he knocked me out via set over set, so I'll play Chiu's tourney. Ahh, I'll probably play both. Chimps rule.

so far there are a heck of a lot of pros in the lee watkinson tourney. chances of getting a pro at your table are pretty good in this event imo. but both causes are for the good imo.

good luck to all that play it.

I will moer then likely play in the second one. I'd like to do both, but a 1600 start time might be rough. If I can't play in the first I might look to see if someone wants to go halves on it for a 50/50 split of the winnings.

All due respect but a month ago I posted about trying to get a tourney started to help a local charity involved with buying defibrillators for schools and little leagues started by family friends who lost their 10 year old suddenly when his heart stopped. I posted the link and everything and got all of one response so forgive me if I don't sign up to help Lee watkinson save a bunch of captive chimps.

Respect to you for writing that. When compared to a lot of issues like the Chinese Earthquake or the myriad of potential human life saving good causes, why should anyone give their money to save a species which has pretty good breeding rates in captivity, and isnt in anywhere near as much danger in the wild as most tigers, pandas or sharks.
