The role of a middleman is to ensure that everything, I mean everything, goes smoothly. The merest hint of irregularity warrants increased caution and scrutiny.

The amount of money is irrelevant.
I don't know you. I don't know dallas8800. Whether you are casual friends or siamese twins is irrelevant. I don't need to know you.
What we now have amounts to a three-way tradem which I do not engage in unless I have prior consent of all parties.
I offer these options:
1. dallas8800 cancel the order ASAP. I'll return the funds to ill justice, or hold them while he obtains another seller. This is my favored option.
2. driver9090 and dallas8800 simultaneously log on to and post in this thread, and sit and play at a FT play chip table with me. You both must be chat enabled. In less than one orbit together I can do what I need to do.
I will then ship the funds to the account that dallas8800 authorizes me to.
3. If neither option is met, I will forward the funds to dallas8800 when it is confirmed that the order has been shipped, possibly weeks away.
I realize that you are frustrated and eager to obtain these funds. The funds are safe, and will be distributed equitably and promptly when this unexpected wrinkle has been ironed out.
Please permit me an explanation.
There is a popular scam method that I call the 'three-way scam.' There is also a number of scammers who use multiple accounts. Scammers will say anything to convince someone to send them money.
Important: I am not calling you a scammer.
I'm not trying to go out of my way to upset you. I'm not trying to disparage your name or hinder any future trades.
Believe me that I don't want to hold funds any longer than necessary, but I must.
Unfortunately, too may people have fallen victim to the promises of an anonymous stranger, or when they have discounted seemingly insignificant irregularities, to afford me the luxury of lowering my guard one iota.
I absolutely must believe beyond reasonable doubt that this trade involves two seperate people, dallas8800 and driver9090. The best way for me to do that is to see you both simultaneously on this forum and on the client. I can then chat with you both, and perform an internal check. That will convince me that I'm dealing with two different people, and I can obtain directly the consent from dallas8800. |

| hey clamper i understand your issue and what you are saying. This is not worth all this trouble for 30 some dollars..ill cancel the order and u can rteurn funds to ill justice..if he wants to proceed that is fine dierectly with me. Take care |

You obviously have 2 accounts and can't explain yourself. What's wrong with having a mod look over a trade to make sure everything goes ok? Doesn't matter if it's for $32 or $1,000.
Looks like you won't be selling your points anytime soon, buddy. |

| um buddie, had a mod and merchandise was ordered...the seller is fine with the way order was its the mod who has an issue...listen i dont need to sell points on here. 2 people ordered stuff and will be getting there merchandise. Ill justice u can get ur money back from clamper..i cancelled your order...go order from someone at a higher rate |

I see lots of problems with that transaction. First, what is your FT name?
Is it the same as your forum name? If the answer to this is yes then the forwarded confirmation evidently has a different name than yours. Which leads to a problem with the third party person. Do you have someone else ordering something for you and your collecting the money? Do you see where problems can arise. To many scams have happened this way when first person says I will do this then has money excahnged from someone else where 1st person gets money second person gets money and third person loses out on money.
Now I'm not accusing anyone of fraudulant activity but you can see the problems that can happen. If you would have done as clamper asked all could have been cleared up rather quickly. Good luck unloading the remainder of your points. |

wow ok,
were to start...
Well first of the amont of money is irrelevent, 30$ isnt much money to me but that doesnt mean im ok with gettting scammed. Everthing should be in the clear according to clamper for this to continue. If he feels something is wrong then so be it, he has a lot more experiance in this then me. I just dont understand why you dont do what he asks unless you have something to hide.( not to mention your below nomal price and the fact your seem to be in a hurry...and you wont stop pm'ing me)
Anyways I dont have time for this right now (really dont at all) and clamper, I think, is on vacation so everthing is on hold anyway.
I suggust if your not going to do what he ask then just unplace the order. Reall sucks that this couldnt have gone easier and just do what he asks.

Really is rare that you find someone who cares about the well being of someone else. Esspcally someone who you dont even know. Really you deserve an award or something for looking out for so many people... thanks.
