The fourth hat was a specialty pick that I was very surprised to get so little action when he was the obvious favorite, and I would like to mention this guy but he is such a tap in I hate to spoil my odds for a repeat in the same event. That said, it is not such a secret at all because the proper research for each event points strongly in his direction.

I'll take Jon from Miami for 200, feihua.

Thank you for taking the time to let us in on some of your fantasy insight... I'll definately refer back to your post a couple times during the comp.

Be sure that both options are set to "English" (Lobby > Languages > Open Language Options). Idk why it only works with this settings.

Check it and they are both set to it. So I don't know what the issue is. I emailed Support and they responded that they will look into it, but no response yet, been about a week. Guess it is time to shoot another email off to them.

You got a point there, AP. With the added 10K events, Cernuto might just build on that TV coverage.

Actually, I was thinking along the lines of a deaf and sleepy guy.

I have researched all of the choices down to two bleeding eyes and Mike Schneider and out of the first 250 names, I have isolated about 65 solid picks and 8 wait-and-seize choices.

And am perplexed about my choices because everything points to a year topheavy with A level pros.

The players available appear to be saturated with ring game players rather than live tournament choices. For the ones I chose to say "No way, not this year," the axing was fairly automatic.

Stud is the game that filled the easiest. The specialty 2 7 Hi Lo On Your Knees In My Mouth games yield about seven names. Everything that isn't Omaha points to buy in range. Everything that is Omaha says to continue the wait and see when the Europeans show up.

The online players turned up a very surprising specialty - apparently, there is a freak that has been working on his game.

And, if you know the name of Japanese toilets, there is your hint about a familiar name who has showed a recent tendency to be something we call Hot.

And with a nod to the Voulgaris Viewpoint: Men the Master does not check out.

My hands are in the air for this year. I have about 65 players left to research, and half of them are already throwaways unless some become early arrivals and show a little bit of giddyness.

I feel the biggest point of the toteboard is this: for all of the players that Full Tilt has signed this year, yet have not generally be known for their tournament game, will Full Tilt give them endorsing enabling them to play a good amount of tournaments in this year's Series? Those are the names to keep an eye on because they are not showing up on the pre-launch percentages.

8076 have entered as of this posting putting the opening event entries up around 3000 over last year.

But last year the first event carried a one in five chance of getting into freeroll action and it will take at least 10 000 entrants for that this year.

Events 1 and 2 look fairly easy enough to determine good choices but with event 3 going back to the same game as event 1 and event 4 being the big money opener from last year, taking place just five hours later, event 3 is definitely the odd one.

Event 8 is definitely the wildest one of the Series and should garner equal attention with the 50K HORSE. If you have not had a close look at event 8, check it out at the WSOP website.

The numbers on the toteboard look as though they are geared 50 40 towards online players and television names with the remaining 10% on past WSOP results.

There is one definite A level player being passed over on event 1 and it is pretty surprising.

I am curious about the strong numbers behind Chad Batista - he is without a doubt the Ron Paul of 2008 Fantasy Poker.

No one is talking numbers about registrations for this year's Series from what I can make out. Except for the 10K events, where I have heard some pretty low estimates being given. On one hand, Raymer on 2+2 said he would register as he busted out. On the other hand, Daniel N said on 2+2 he was skipping a lot of stuff to concentrate on folks he knew. And if you wanna count feet, Raymer sez he and Daniel still keep their distance.

There is pool action for $10 at 2+2 being bandied about. If you are interested, search Fantasy Poker at the 2+2 Forum or PM me.

See skeet's name on the above list?

Do a search on his name, see his listings, and you can find the pw quite easily.

Looking forward to seeing your name in the league roster.

skeeter also posted a link in the first page of this thread, and that link has the password in it.

I've spotted a Poker Road league listing, so there may be an announcement on tomorrow's show. Seventhbok, eugenetoddbro and chainsaw don't work, hehe.
