Do we like checking the river to induce a bluff? It sure looks like a big spade right? No reads. New to the table.

lol I also just noticed that the cutoff had made it 0.75. I missed this during the hand. I thought I was only raising limpers.

I bet a bit more on both flop and turn. On the river I probably just jam because people aren't all that likely to be calling down with just the Ts or worse. He'd have to either have specifically the Qs or turn some kind of one pair hand into a bluff. If he has an A or some two pair that he decided to call down with instead of raising, you lose a ton of value when he checks back a hand that would've called a shove.

+1 to Riddim

But definately increase your bet sizing. I'd be betting no less than 2/3 the pot as a cbet and definately bet 3/4 on scary boards like this. On the turn, I think I would be betting $7 or $8 as that is a super scary board and so many cards will either outdraw you or kill your action. Get as much value as you can.

Yeah I've noticed from a lot of the replies that I tend to bet too small postflop. I'll try to adjust those bets accordingly.

rob, when the board is drawy, you generally need to be betting almost pot sized.
