| This might be a popular question but I just joined this site. Why are the blinds raised every 6 minutes? Pokerstars and bodog do not do it that quick. Bodog is every 10 hands and pokerstars is, I think, every 10 minutes. I didnt see any mention that the 10+1 6 player or 9 player sit n go were turbo. Thanks. |

| They're raised more often, but not as much. It actually works out ot your paying LESS in blinds at FTP than at pokerstars over the course of the tournament. |

FTP has the best blind structure.
I played a 45 person sng last night on Pokerstars, and at one point the blinds doubled. It wasn't even a turbo. So yeah, the blinds increase every 10 minutes, but they actually increase more.
On FTP the blinds are at 120/240 after one hour of play in a sng.
On Pokerstars the blinds are 200/400 after one hour of play in a sng. And there might even be an ante. I know there was in the 45 person sng. I'm not sure about the 9 person sng.
Ultimatebet has the slowest blinds. After the first hour in a sng with a buy-in of $50 or less the blinds are at 75/150. I actually think this is too slow. I like to finish a sng in and hour or so. |
