| I am curious how eveyrone plays them pre-flop. They are all pretty cards, which I believe is how a lot of people on this site play, but how do you act pre-flop...Raise? Limp?Fold? How much of a difference do you go with UTG and On the button? You know you have some high value but if you hit top pair, obviously kickers come into play. Just looking for opinions |

I rarely if ever play them early, nor do I play them late with a bunch of limpers without raising to 5 or 6 BB's because they don't play well in multi-way pots. If I'm late and the pot is unopened, I might limp with KQ but most likely am raising with them. I don't really care much for KJ and JQ can put you on the dumb end of a straight if you fill and a K comes OTR against Ace anything. I guess I'm usually aggressive with them preflop to either buy the pot then or maybe get one caller at most (i.e Big Blind). Then those cards play better. Other than that, throw them away unless you're playing at a table full of Tight/Passive Donks that you can push around.
Have fun and GL |

| I consider these hands as marginal, especially in early and middle positions. In late position, if there's no one else in the pot, I'd raise them, if I played them. |

JQ: In 6 max, will probably raise from any position, unless playing at loose in which case CO and BTN only (this all obviously depends on opponents and where they are sitting as well.). Will call to raises in the blinds if suited (but wont be getting too attached if I flop top pair depending upon opponent.). Will also 3 bet in later position from time to time.
In FR, will only call to a raise if suited, and will always raise in CO/BTN if first to act or with a max 3 limpers already. |

| I rarely if ever play them UTG or in early position unless I have great reads on the people at the table. Alot of people will overplay theses hands and get it tons of trouble. I normally raise with them in late position or make a call if someone has raised in MP. I don't get married to them if I do hit one of my hole cards, as you really went either two pair or a straight or flush(if they're suited) if you play them. Granted, like I said, if you have great reads on the people at the table, you could change it up and raise in EP, but I rarely if ever do it. |

What I usually do...
6x max
QJ (Call, raise in Button or SB, fold vs any 3x or larger bet)
KJ (Call, raise in Button, SB, or BB, fold in early position vs any 3x or larger bet)
KQ (Raise from any position, call any 3x bet from any position or a reraise from late position)
9x max
QJ (Fold in early position, raise in Button or SB, fold vs any 3x or larger bet)
KJ (Call, raise in Button or SB or BB, fold vs any 3x or larger bet)
KQ (Raise in mid position, call any 3x bet from any position or a reraise from late position)
HU
All cards, raise in SB, call with all cards against 3x bet, reraise with KQ (but fold another reraise after that). |
