HELP,
I hate pushing allin on the flop and have been working hard at not doing that. but look at the situation below and tell me after the reraise what can I do? I know I wanted to push the flush draw out, 2nd hand in a SNG and working on my IRON MAN AGAIN(Swear to god, they better give me a jersey for all of the money in fees I have spent) anyway, PLEASE should I have waited to the turn? Just getting crushed in these situations I have holes in my computer room walls and doors over it. (TYPING SLOW, BROKEN HAND)

| Most people playing NL use the all-in option far too often. Why did you have to go all-in at all right there? |

| Wanted the flush draw out. Even a guy who had the suited Ace of spades said he wasn't looking for the flush for that price. But the only draw he had was the flush, no other draw. Usually if you chase a flush you have hit something, but this guy, NOTHING. |

Because he was trying to get paid.
He had middle set with a few players who were feeling friskly post flop. Love bet post flop (too little IMHO), got raised and had two other callers. We know surfer was playing a draw. I would guess that clint had a J with kicker problems and wanted to take the pot down post-flop.
Love re-raised more than enough to push surfer off his draw and to indicate that he really had a hand. Surfer gambled and hit the draw. Because everyone limped pre-flop, I would not have put anyone on JJ, so Love had the best hand post-flop.
Love got unlucky. That's it. With the pot at 900 by the time the reraise got back to Love, the only choice was all-in or fold. |

| I see alot of people make these plays in the low stakes games. They fall in love with flush draws and put their whole stack in on them. I guess they figure they can either double up and have a good chance of winning, or lose and jump in another sit n go. They will lose the majority of the time so keep that in mind. I would advise you to bet more into that kind of flop. 30 into a pot of 150 would have given him correct odds to chase. |
