Can FT please reserve some tables for single table players only? I'm finding it a real pain at times when there are too MT players online. Their big stack time wasting games are slowing things down too much. I like to play for fun win or lose, have a bit of banter and variety of play. These robotic MT players who play only a few hands, wait to catch out others with big hands and take forever to fold while they are playing on other tables can make the game a boring yawn. Seems to be worse on $1 and $2 games. It's particually bad when there are 2,3 or more on any table. Fair enough, let players play as many tables as they like but how about some consideration for players who just want to sit at one table and play for enjoyment.

I thought about this a little bit too, but I think the only way to get around the multi-tablers is to play on a smaller, less established poker site (like Cake Poker).

So what your saying is can you stop players playing tight poker because you find it boring? lol. This is ridiculous. If you pay the buyin, you can play your cards however you want I guess. Its a shame if its ruining your play but they should be able to play however they want. Stew

Ridiculous suggestion. People can play however they want within the time restrictions available to them. Go and play turbo cash games if you like.

Completly agree i think that is absolutely a ridiculous, and not just fact that full tilt isnt going to cater to players only able to play single table---

But really if you cant beat a player maybe playing from 4-16 other tables how do you think you will do against players just playing singlle game.

I don't think they should limit players from playing multiple tables. However, if you can't keep up with the decisions that need made on the tables you're playing, it's probably a good indicator that you're playing over your head and should drop a couple of tables just to avoid holding up the games for everyone else.

Like most things in life, a little common courtesy would be good, but common courtesy is often uncommon.

Hi all,

Interesting how people who are offended about being reminded of their selfish ways always attack the messenger and not the message.

And for those of you that appear not to understand English, I said before I don't mind people playing all the tables they like and this has nothing to with winning or losing poker. Loose or tight. Turbo tables or other. The main issue for me and many other single table players is the constant use of the time clock and boring play dominating a table. It is tiresome waiting for players who fold 80% of their hands using up all the time hand after hand while they finish their business elsewhere. I'm just asking for some tables reserved for like minded people who like to play a standard cash game and prefer not to endure time wasting MT junkies.

You guys who play a lot of tables may be having a good time , feeling energized and constantly on the go but we are the ones who suffer for it.

Does FT not have speed tables? If so just play on those, you are very unlikely to find many multi table players on speed tables.

Have you considered that maybe all the multi table players are tired of you speed demons rushing through all of your decisions?? Laughing

How do you not lose your mind playing one table? Have you ever considered playing multiple tables yourself? In my experience, which is vast, the multi-tablers often act quicker than the other players since they know what they're doing.

You don't get it do you. Like I said before, I am talking about time wasting on most hands for routine folds and calls which is standard play for MT players. I want to play a table where I can make my decisions in a timely manner whether quick or slow as the play and cards dictate just like at a live game.

Debbie.

I would tend to agree with that. You will find the occasional guy who is clearly playing too many tables for their own good, but for the most part I don't find the average multitabler to be any slower than anyone else. Also one table at a time bores the hell out of me. I played for a while at PKR and was averaging about $120 a day off the fishies, but could only play one table at a time.

I actually have stopped playing there as my computer can't handle there software very well. That decision has cut back on my profit, but I do get to keep my sanity Very Happy
