Seems to me you should focus on whichever you feel you are best at.
If you are comfortable with putting your real cash on the table, and if you're good, go with cash games. Your return could be much greater.
Sit n go tournaments have a different appeal ...for a small buy-in, you're betting with chips ...maybe from 150 to 750 times the amount of your actual buy-in. The downside is that your return, in any one tournament, will be limited by the payout structure. |

I am usually 2-4 cash player and i can tell you that the rewads can be great, but be prepared for the bad times that will happen.
I have made mistakes of cashing our to much and then running into bad streak so there really is lots of things to consider in cash games
Me personally i have had good luck at cash games but am trying to get into more of a tourney player as the risk doesnt seem so great, and i think they are more enjoyable.
I dont know about others but when i am playing cash game with couple hundred on table it can be rather stressful and not much fun.
But overall play what you find best to suit your finacial means |

Assuming you play both styles well, cash games will be more profitable than single table SnG's.
Single Table SnG's are the least profitable version of poker. |

| Cash games and it's not close at all if you're thinking long term. It's very possible that you'll have a much easier time making money in SNGs though. |

| I agree that cash games are most profitable. Maybe not as psychologically rewarding as winning a large multi-table tournament, but to me there's less variance with cash games. |

I'm starting to experiment also.
Seems I do better $5 heads up games than 5c/10c ring games. Haven't lost a head up SNG in the last 10 or so. |
