Yeah, I was just trying to lighten up with some humor, macs do have their place with graphic design, architecture and it does artsy stuff in general better imo. But, let me put it this way, buying a mac is quo vis-a-vis like buying a car that only drives on 20% of the roads, Q.E.D.

| Haha. I agree - macintosh makes many great things - some pretty good sound systems, the ipod (not the best MP3 player out there, but not bad, plus it has tons of accessories) and some very nice monitors. Their computers, however, are just not worth the cash, in my opinion. |

I take it then that you, unlike millions, own no iPod. And that you use no mouse (created by Apple.) And that your PC runs on DOS, not a icon/drop-down based system (invented by Apple for the first Macintosh.) Unless you live in a cave in Afghanistan, you are coming within 100 meters of an Apple product every time you leave your home. Come to think of it, even Afghanis have technology. Wonder what's on Osama's iPod? |

Nope, I have no need for an iPod.
My mouse is not an apple mouse.
The world's first car was a mercedes-benz. Does that mean you and everybody else drives a mercedes-benz?
My computer is not an apple, chief. Your weak analogies aren't even relevant. |

Hahaha, we struck a nerve with an apple luver. Aaaaaawww, sorry to burst your bubble but Apple did not invent this system--underpaid interns at Xerox did and when Steve Jobs (I hope you at least know who he is although doubtful considering your ignorance) came in and offered the execs at Xerox $$ for the OS they gleefully accepted thinking the product would never take off. The interns DID NOT want to give up their invention. When Steve's friend Bill Gates pirated the OS from Steve and made windows--no one really felt bad nor do I. |
