Online Poker Forum - $20 dollar freeroll registration....horrible setup

I have talked to many people about this and they all agree...make the registration about 10 minutes before the freeroll starts. All 900 peole always register within 5 minutes and everyone hates waiting at there computer for an hour waiting for the freeroll to start. Also, many people just register and then don't play because they forget about it because its so far off.

Full Tilt has a set amount of time between registration and tournament start for many reasons. When they first started the freeroll they probably did not expect for them to fill up in the first 5 minutes of registration. They want to give people time to register. It's not hard to register and watch T.V. or play poker while waiting? ha. play a sit N go or something. If they moved registration that close to tournament start the server would become even more overloaded becase 900 people are trying to register at one time. Just relax and stop writing complaints over something that costs nothing. Let's just play poker.

I don't play the freerolls, but my brother does, and he has said the same thing.

I'd email them. It's a good idea, now that they know how quickly the freerolls fill up.
