The entire iron man program is explained here
http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/promotions/ironman

Including how to qualify for each level and what you get for each level.

I read the rules on the site and am still confused. Front page says you can qualify by getting 1 point per day.

then it goes to say that if you accumulate point by month it gets you into other ironman tournies based on your statusIE bronze silver gold or Ironman, If you read the front page it say 100 points in one month for IRONMAN status. but on another page it says you have to accumulate 500 in one day.

Just trying to figure it all out so any info is appreciated

Iron man in brief:

There are a few different free rolls you can qualify for.

First there are 4 levels of standard iron man.
these are bronze, silver, gold and iron.

There are usually a few different ways to qualify for each level. Here are the requirements:

Bronze: play 15 days of 100 FTPS per day or 20 days of 50 FTP per day

Silver: play 15 days of 200 FTPS per day
or 20 days of 100 FTP per day
or 25 days of 50FTP per day

Gold: 25 days of 100 FTP per day
or 20 days of 200 FTP per day

Iron: 25 days of 200 FTP per day

--------------------------------------------

You earn Iron man medals for reaching each level and also qualify for a free roll. The number of medals you earn depends on which level you've reached and how many consecutive months you've qualified for bronze or better. The iron man medals can be spent in the iron man store for $26 and $75 tokens, cash bonuses, or 5000, 25000, or 100,000 FTP points to spend in the regular store, there are also jackets and pants.

-------------------------------------------

Freerolls: there is a free roll for each level.

$10,000 for bronze
$15,000 for silver
$20,000 for gold
$30,000 for iron

All qualifying players have the option of not playing the freeroll, and instead you will be given bonus iron man medals depending on your level.

These are:

25 for bronze
40 for silver
70 for gold
100 for Iron

---------------------
The winners of the 4 freerolls will then play each other in a 4 man SNG.
The winner gets $5000 and the chance to play 3 full tilt pros heads up for more money. If you beat 1 pro you win another $5000, beat 2 you'll get $10,000, sweep all three pros and you'll win $50,000

And if you qualified for IRON status and you beat all three pros that $50,000 is doubled and you'll get $100,000!

-----------------------------

There is also the "one-a-day" freeroll. Everyone is able to qualify even without qualifying for the bronze, silver, gold, or iron level.

All players that earn 1 FTP for everyday for the entire month will qualify. You must not miss any days for the whole month.

There is a $2000 free roll you will qualify for. If you wish to not play it you will be given 15 Iron man medals for opting-out instead.

--------------------------

At any time you can check your status by going to my promotions in the cashier and clicking on Iron man. When you reach 50, 100 and 200 FTP for each day that day will change color on your calandar. You will get a check mark on each day that you earn 1 FTP for the one-a-day-freeroll.
---------------------------

For players that earn a ton of FTP each day, there is also Iron Man Plus. You can earn bonus medals for playing 500FTP or more in one day.

For each day you earn 500FTP you will get 2 bonus medals, 1000FTP will get you an additional 3 bonus medals (making 5 total) 1500FTP will get you 5 more (ten medals total) and 2000 FTP in one day will get you 10 more (for a total of 20 medals), after you earn 2000FTP you will get an additional 10 medals for every 1000FTP you earn over that initial 2000.

All medals earned this will be held until the end of the month. In order to receive these bonus medals for iron man plus, you must qualify for at least bronze status for the month or higher, or you will forfeit any iron man plus bonus medals you have earned during the month.

----------

Hopefully this helps clear things up a bit.

A couple other notes about iron man.

Each day is considered midnight to midnight EST.

If there is a server outage, usually everyone is given the benefit of doubt and will be given credit for earning 200 points for the day, you will not actually be given 200 FTP just the credit as if you earned 200 for the day there was an outage. You can usually tell when this happens because you'll have a day where your status page shows exactly 200 FTP earned, even you you probably played more or less.

When you play a tournament, the FTP points are credited to your account when you bust out of the tournament. Keep this in mind, For example if you play a $10+1 tournament at 23:45 Sunday and you bust out or win it at 00:45 Monday morning, the FTPs earned will be credited to Monday's total.
(which would be 7 points, because every $1 paid in tourney or SNG fees is worth 7 FTP)

Be sure to visit your status page (cashier > my promotions > iron man) and choose if you want to play the freeroll or take the bonus medals.

Depending on how much time you have to play, reaching Bronze Iron Man is achievable even at the 5/10cent NL hold-em tables. Once I first achieved that status, I entered the freerolls, which is a pretty cool way to get free money!

another tip, the quickest way to earn points is cash games, multi tabling.

Also it looks like points earned at happy hour count for ironman, so that will get you there twice as fast during happy hours

Oh, is this definitely confirmed? It would be great to play half as much on days I don't particularly feel like grinding!

all this week the FTP i've earned for happy hour have also applied to my iron man status.

I think this is because they pay out the 2x or 3x ftp at the same time you earn them. In the past, you'd get a lump sum at the end of the promo period. I got 200 FTP in about 256 hands, and normally I average .5FTP per hand played, so they are definately counting for iron man.

An easy way to check this is when happy hour starts check your iron man status for the day, then play. When happy hour is over, the amount of points you earned for iron man should be double amount of bonus points you earned during happy hour.
