2nd - 16
3rd - 21
4th - 18
5th - 18
6th - 15
7th - 14
8th - 16
9th - 7
I know this is not a reasonable size pool by any means, but looking at these stats alone, does this suggest not enough tight play early on? And should 2nd place finishes be higher than 3rd place finishes? Any input is appreciated. |

My quick math says you have a 43% ROI which is outstanding, but is unsustainable over the long run unless you are one of the best SnG players around.
As far as tight play, I wouldn't try to change this based on the results you are getting.
It may be that you are getting fewer 2nd places because once you get to heads up play you are totally outplaying your opponent and your results are showing this. |

As you have more 3rds than 2nds I think it's quite possible that you are not utilising the bubble as well as you could be. It would appear that when you cash, you either have a shortstack and come 3rd, or you get heads up and usually play well enough to win the tournament.
Try and be more aggressive on the bubble, especially if you have a big stack. Attack those players wanting to cash. Remember, the bubble is where you make the chips to win with. |

By my calculations you are up $957, which is about $6.20 per game. If you are happy with that, you are doing great! If you can do that 3-4 tables at a time, you are making damn good money per hour. If you can only do it 1 table at a time... well, it still beats doing dishes for the same money.
Certainly there is room for improvement, but you are profitable over a pretty large number of games. After that, the judgment of whether its good enough is highly selective. |

| On such a small sample, the fact that you have afew more 3rd's then 2nd's don't mean much. Of course, if it's a real trend, then it's probably still not something to worry about. You could be getting to 3rd shortstacked and/or you could just be continuing to play your game. If second possibility is the case then the times you lose and finish 3rd will be counteracted by the improved chances in finishing 1st then you win these encounters. |

Not a pro or fourm member but with just a quick look at your stats you are:
In the money more often that not.
Almost at 2-1 once you get heads up.
Up over $1200.
What flaws?
You can read all the poker books in the world and they will all tell you that you cannot win every time. The best you can do is maximize your odds to win - now pay attention - this does not mean you will win every time. (No matter what Phil Hellmuth thinks) You seem to be doing that. Hell, I wish I had your w/l percentage. |

I've been playing more aggressively on the bubble, and i think it reflects on the stats, thanks again.
