I have been playing on Full Tilt for a short while and mostly I play stud. I see the same people at the same tables every single night. Here is the thing the same people seem to win EVERY night. If you get a boat they get a bigger one if you get a flush they get a higher one. In real life a pair of aces wins A LOT in stud but on here you are lucky to win with a straight. I dont get it. I mean it seems like most of these players know when extactly to stay in a hand. Now Im not saying there is no skill because any poker game for the most part requires skill. However, you get dealt 3 cards to start out and when the players I am talking about complete and keep betting they hit and win everytime. Im not saying people are cheating but I am wondering how they "know". I cant be the only one that has noticed this. Its the same in the 2000 chip hold em tourneys. Same players will go all in with 3 8 off suit and win. Weird. Anyway, I love poker and I do like playing on Full Tilt so I guess my main question is do these same winners every night know something I dont?

If 4 people go all in, all with crap hands, a crap hand will win. If you've got a premium hand and 3 others follow you to the end with crap hands, chances are that one of the crap hands will hit something and suck out on you. The more crazy people at your table, the more chance your premium hands will suffer sicko beats.

I don't know much about stud, but it sounds like they are just getting extremely lucky.

Also keep in mind, it's just play chips. Most people will be playing extremely loose, or making plays that would normally make no sense at all. Plus, IF they were able to cheat, why would they waste time doing it at a play money table?

I know how you feel though. I've seen people make really bone headed calls /plays, even in real money. I would think to myself, "How can you ever make that call? They must be cheating." Almost everytime this has popped into my mind I've looked up their stats and found them to be losing players. Sometimes people just play so poorly that they are bound to lay extreme suckouts on you.
