The failure to update this thread is pretty disappointing, and I'm running out of reasons to keep reassuring the anxious backers who continue to contact me. Personally I'm still not anxious at all, I'm just pissed off.

I've been thinking a lot about whether or not to post anything. It boils down to whether what I was told was honest or not.
Basically on the 14th of May, wwcd told me via AIM that he was in "self exclusion until the 19th of Sept." not the 19th of June. I know that he was trying to contact FT and see if there was any way around this, but I'm assuming the answer was not one that was good news.

Due to FT censor policy, I obviously had to change some language there. I might be naive, but I'll wait and see what Sept brings before passing judgement. I just really can't believe that wwcd would roll for that amount after all the contribution he had given to the forum. Now, with all of the other items that have been posted, I can see where some wouldn't believe this as true, but considering when it was that he told me, and the fact that it was before he listed the other date, the Sept 19th will be the day I go by. |

May 20th edit, not a typo june 19th.
Even though he was not completely honest, (or maybe anouther exclusion ?) I really don't think this was an intentional roll.
Seems like some sort of an intervention. Priorities change after that. I believe he will eventually sort it out. |

It's pretty clear to me that this wasn't an intentional roll. Quite simply, if wwcd had planned to fleece people out of money, he could've raised a hell of a lot more than $216 (or $256, or whatever it was). Something has happened here beyond his control, and I'm certain that the guy is now just too embarrassed by the episode to come back.
I hope I'm wrong. Not least because wwcd ought to know that whenever he returns, with an explanation and a pile of cash, however much flaming he faces from some quarters he'll still get a ton of respect from some of us. Because some of us know that everyone screws up sometimes, but facing up to it and making it better takes real guts and class.
Like I say, I hope he returns. |

| I just hope he returns and gives an explanation of the situation. I dont feel he rolled with this, just not worth the effort for the amount of gain. No hard feelings toward wwcd just wish he would keep everyone updated on the situation. |

I'll have no problem forgiving him if he comes back with the money and an explanation.
I've been in situations where one lie has lead to another, then another, then just went out of control. So, I could sympathize.
This is all based on the assumption he didn't just take the money and leave. I agree with a few others though. It's hard to imagine someone who has spent this much time on a forum rolling for only $216.
I guess we'll find out in Sept.?  |

| I just had a convo with wwcd on aim. He said, "As long as I am not dead they will have their money in mid September". He seems to feel bad about the situation and I believe him. |

Well, everyone deserves to know what is really wrong and what has happenend, Back in January I opened a
new account on FTP because I did not like the screenname wwcd5215. I have no rakeback on
WnrWnrChcknDnr, and I never have colluded. I got $40 transfered from my friends account and played with
that. I self-excluded myself on wwcd5215 in Early March. Then sometime in late April i think I requested a
trade from FTP or PS. I don't know if this is a coincidence that my account got locked the very next day or
what. Then I panicked try emailing support, lying to them etc etc. I think i
wrote i never excluded myself It was something my friend had done. But
Obv this was just desparation by myself. And they would not let up on
there policy at all. No way is this part of "plan" or something like that.
This is incredibly embarissing to myself becayse; You guys won't be
getting your money until September, I lied about the whole situation. Also
How i had no communiation between myself and any of my backers.
Everyone WILL get there money on September 19th. And most likely
extra compensation. Also, LostOstrich shows amazing class by running a
$216 BAP for my backers. I won't be playing any poker until september
as I have much more important things to worry about. I will keep in
contact with everyone though. If there is anything you think I've left or
want to me question me about it, do it.

Well wwcd it shows class to me that you would return and explain the whole situation for your investors. It is a bad deal for all involved but I can understand your situation. Hope you dont leave the forum totaly until september. Kind of enjoyed your posts.  |

I wouldnt say class after all the lies and having peoples oney and not informing them but was nice of you to tell us will be another 3 months |
