You can always check here to see if FTP is experiencing problems: http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/systemStatus.php

I cannot reconnect either, and http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/systemStatus.php says "All systems are currently operational. Thanks for playing!"

I can't connect either scarfire. I had just put a bet out and other players were deciding whether to call it. It will be interesting to see what happens to the pot.

That's sweet that they have a link. Now if it actually updated when the system was down it would server a purpose.

They can always have the link on another server (which it probably is) from the games. How long would it take to update? Just say something like "The site is down, try back at 5:30pm". If not up by then, update to 6pm or so.

I don't know about FTP's. But I have to say I was severely annoyed
that the 200K Round 1 Freeroll was voided & 2 hours of play/work &
contention for a top 36 spot, was thrown out the window like dirty
laundry. The email that I received said that all tourneys that anyone
was registered for between 5:07pm ET & 8:35pm were voided. Well...
I was involved in the tourney already..and it was voided.
I believe that the remaining people that were left should be automatically entered into Round 2 for their inconvienence due to FT's system
failure. That is not the players fault & we shouldn't have to put up with
FT's inability to handle too many players for their servers or whatever
critical system failure they haven't made an adjustment or repair to.
I play on several sites & I have never, ever experienced the down
time that occured last night on FT. It is unacceptable, especially when
real money is involved & some peoples livelihood.
I wouldn't be so vocal about it, but it seems that it has happened before
according to other peoples posts.
I sincerely hope that they invest some money soon to avoid any
further unnecessary system failures & get with the program & on the
right track. Too many people really like this site & the ability to play &
talk to the Pro's.
So become more professional, as you profess, Full Tilt. Then I'll be
one happy customer & grateful. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Its a freaking freeroll for Gods sake, give it a rest. Full Tilt puts on freerolls when they dont have to, to try and make people happy, and then you go and **** like this whenever you can't play your freeroll.
