Finished 679th of 3149 in Event #23.

I ran like God in the second hour, but ran like Dog in the third. Wasn't dealt a single PP, and missed every flop. Every time I made a move, I was raised. In the end I fizzled down to an M of 4, and shoved with 96. 88 called, and the magic 9 didn't materialise.

Thanks to all the railers, see you all again in an hour for the big one.

BTW, I did get a solitary KO bounty for $40, so we'll discuss what to do with it after the Main Event. I'm going to unwind for an hour now, will be back fully charged up for 18:00. The AIM chatroom will remain open, just contact slmsr747 for an invite.

good effort LO. i watched most of the time. its time for the Main Event and i feel confident you can do it. you and supfool at the final table imo. I will be railing. good luck to you and supfool.

Well, that went well.

I've only played AK and pairs from 88+.

And I've had to fold AA, QQ and AK on horrible flops to hands that are obviously killing me.

On the plus side, 2870 is a perfectly playable stack. It's all in hand.

I haven't the heart to go through the story of my bust-out. A depressing 3964th of 4750. Just suffice to say, I'm pretty sure I played every key hand correctly, with the exception of my failure to 3-bet my aces pre-flop early in the first hour.

It just wasn't to be. Anyway, we have $40 in the kitty, so how about I make up the difference and play the $17.5k some time this week?
