How exactly is the rake that which I earn FTPs calculated, and how many FTPs do I earn per? How exactly is my 27% rakeback calculated at raketherake.com? I've earned 51 cents of my bonus; why does it say I have earned negative 69 cents at raketherake.com? One more question; I've already deposited $50 and have a bonus account of $50, If in a month I deposit $300 more will my bonus account be credited with $300 more or is it just a first time deposit bonus?

For every raked hand in which you are dealt cards, you get one FTP for every dollar of rake, up to a max of 3 points per hand. For SNG entries, you get 7 FTP for every $1 in tournament (SNG and MTT) entry fees.

See http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/fullTiltPoints.php for more details.

You'll have to ask your rakeback site to explain how they calculate and pay out the rakeback.

The initial deposit bonus is a one-time match only.

If you have earned 51 cents and you have lost 50 dollars you should clear your bonus by Christmas if you get lucky.

When Fulltilt or any other site sends your affiliate rakeback they first calculate the "net" rake you paid.

Example: You play cash tables and Site determines you paid $300. in rake over the month.
Now they subtract the "cost" of having you as a player. Some costs could be: $15. - transaction fee for credit card deposit
$40. - cleared bonus paid to your account
$6. - you redeemed Fulltilt points to buy ball cap in store
$5. - you play in $1000. freeroll with 200 players = $5. average value per player
Total deductions - $66.

$300. - $66. =$234.

Now the site sends some % to your affiliate - let's say 35% = $81.90
The affiliate keeps some for their trouble - let's say 8% = $18.72
You get the other 27% = $63.18

A couple things to keep in mind. If you receive more benefit than you pay in rake in one month, you have a negative rakeback that will carry forward to next month (your affiliate will not normally come after you for this as they assume you will pay rake in the future to offset).

Also, you should still take advantage of any benefits the site offers - like the $5. freeroll value, because it only reduces your rakeback by 27%.
So $5. times 27% = $1.35.
$5 - $1.35 = $3.65 - So you are costing yourself $1.35 rakeback by enterring the freeroll but you still come out ahead overall.

Things to avoid would be unnecessary transaction fees which cost the site $ and in turn reduce your rakeback.
