I'd say yes. I love isolating shortstacks and this is a prime opportunity with a great fit OTF. Also, you don't want any hangers on w/K9 or K8 tagging along, possibly picking up a low draw OTT. I think a raise here also increases your fold equity. I'm familiar w/the SB and would think they likely have 2pr or set. Your equity vs. a set is a the lowest, I'd rather see 2pr.
I also don't like a smooth call as much here because of the sandwich concept. Continuing OOP isn't too optimal multiway. |

I've counted 21 outs with many, many 2 outers.
Odds are in your favor. Raise it. |

Ummm... you mean 16 outs? four 6's, three 7's, three 10's, three J's, three Q's...
Not sure what you mean by 2 outers either, unless you mean picking up an additional draw after the turn (and the only new extra draw he can pick up is a club flush draw). I typically associate a 2 outer with someone hitting their overpair to crack my lower set...
I don't mind a call or a raise in this situation. By just calling, you hope to induce callers behind, and if you hit your straight on the turn (which will be the nuts, regardless of which straight you hit), perhaps someone behind will have a smaller straight and pay you off. The downside is if you hit your straight on the turn, but a low draw comes and hits on the river... or if a flush draw hits the turn and river that wouldn't have been there if you would have raised instead of just called. I think with just calling, you open the door to winning (or losing) a bigger pot than if you raised. By raising, you likely isolate the initial bettor (and small stack), so you're just going to win or lose that $15 or $16. By just calling and inducing extra callers, your chance of winning a really big pot increase, but at the cost of opening the door to losing more as well. Really just depends on your style of play in my opinion.
Personally, I think I would just call... |
