This hand is a perfect example of wha ti use to try and do. Except i was at the winning end. He called me a donkey afterwards but i said dude you let me go through the flop free and the turn for cheap. Your letting draws go through.
Anyways like to thank you guys for fixing this flaw in my game. Hopefully he'll learn his lesson about trying to trap with pocket rockets.

he was nuts on the turn he had two str8 draws possible .and he is looking to hit a boat.and only one pr he hit a set at the river .
in my mind aces are one pair and only one pr.id rather have a pair of 2s ez to toss ez to hide when a set hits..if you play it play it strong out of the gate and take yer chance.. i ounce mucked a set of aces i was last to act and a nut flush and nut str8 had me beat and two massive raise re raise to deal with so i tossed ...lost a chunk but didn't cliff dive |

Just wondering how you made a post about a hand that hadn't happened yet? Or am I missing something here and I'm just a moron? I promise I'll finish reading the post, but this caught my attention. |

Unless there's some really specific read you have on a player, or the flop was very dry, slow playing AA is stupid. But the way this guy slow played is about as stupid as you can get. Way too many ways to lose here, plus, he's letting all his value get away and basically wasting a great hand by keeping the pot so small. Why get AA and only win $1.50? He should have bet that flop and since he didn't, he needs to bet no less than 2/3 to 3/4 pot to deny odds to draws after the turn comes. He had AA and was in position.......bad, really bad play. Slow playing AA just doesn't gain you as much as it costs you overtime IMHO.
Thanks for sharing. |

| Sorta the same, I get a kick when I'm playing a multi-way pot and someone loses a bunch of chips or money with a worse hand than I had, after I have folded. Feels good that I have at least improved somewhat. |

You played the hand fine but your chat here was awful. Don't tell him what he is doing wrong, just let him call you a donkey. Better yet, play along and make a few statements helping to reinforce your donkeyness. Winning a big pot is nice, but it is even nicer to keep winning pots because he thinks you are a donk. Not so good is winning one pot and giving him a lesson on how to play better. |

Different time zones?
The FT server and PS servers may be set to different time zones which would explain the difference if that is the case. |

I understand this is completely off topic and trivial, so my apologies for wasting time here. However, isn't the FT site clock based on ET and the Poker Stars clock ALSO says ET. Just struck me as funny. Nothing more, nothing less. |
