If SNGs are what your better at play SNGs...But move up as fast as possible...do not..do not...do not...fool yourself by thinking you are learning a damn thing in the 250 or 2000 games...the 10k and up will be more like real money play(which im assumeing is your ultimate goal).

@Flying_Kiwi - where can one find the play money ring games?

Just click on the ring/cash game tab and select play money.
Ring games = cash tables. I just call it ring because with play money it's not really cash.

I don't see any tables that allow you to play ring (casino style) games for play money. I can see all the real money cash games, but if i switch over to play money, it shows me all different games.

Are you sure you're on the 'NL Hold'em' tab, or whichever ring game you want to play, and not on the 'Mixed Games' tab?

chris furgisons money management 0-10K works with free as well as real.
try this in ring games
risk no more then 25% of yer stake(fake chips) leave if you lose more then 50% of the chips at the table ..leave with no less the 25%% prof of the table money and or 100% prof ..dont go crazy re up-ing if the tables cold leave..
in short leave with proffit even 25% is better then nothing.. i hit 500k before i went nuts Smile im rebuilding it now i consider the free side batting practice ..ill make my mistakes on the freeside learn from them.. i hope! and not repeat it on the real side.. one mistake is playing tired..don't ! Another is getting in a high action room, and playing lotto..dont ! the other is not thinking a hand though always think what the other guy has and dont do the ohwell call better to fold a winner then donk off chips when you sorta kinda think yer beat but arent sure..not sure? fold! The OHWELL call... kills more off then any other mistake ..playing a loose aggrissve when you have AK and you tag him for a weak king..like K2.. if you hit a king he hit too.. He WILL draw to the river for that 2 and if a 2 hits your sitting there wondering why your AK lost
well you get my pernt...money management fake or real is key..we all lose but the one that keeps more when your on the losing streak wins

For fun, I created a 50k/100k (play money) heads up table titled "King of the Hill".

I think it's cool!

By the BR-rules you should have 20-30 buy-ins anyway to enter a tourney .... which means for the 500k-PC-Freeroll, 10-15 million Smile ...lol ...

Thx Rick
