To all forumers this is a winner take all challenge round 1 this is gonna be a 2 round challenge. I am gonna try to get a pro to face the 2 winners in seperate H.U. Matches. If i cant get a pro the 2 winners will face off for a prize that has not been decided.

Title: forumers HU Challenge
April 15th 2008
time:19:00
Tournament #44662208 (04/15/08 19:00ET)
cost $2.50
Password is wnrtkall (i decided to post pw. hope a good showing will come)
$5 bounty on my head($15 if 18 or more show up for both)

The format is 2 people to a table (like when you play the sngs with 4 people HU and winner gets prize this is a whole tourney like that) all tables will be heads up. as far as the winners of each round i am working on getting pros to do 2 heads up matchs one with each winner for a prize. Not sure what the prize would be.

Due to a big hit in my bankroll and FTP Points i will have to do a H.U. final at a lter time. Please still come and register and have fun though. its something different then what people normaly play in private tourneys.
So please register and Good Luck,

Hope you can all make it.
As allways Good Luck.

PLZ explain the format?

I'll certainly play if I can make it. Just curious as to how it will work?

Have not set up round 2 yet. I am sending the email for round 2 soon. 2 seperate tourneys. this one is round one. theres gonna be as many tables as a regular tournay but instead of 9 seats or 6 seats these tables will be paired in 2's HU Style of play each table.

for example
table 1. 2 seats
table 2. 2 seats
table 3. 2 seats
table 3. 2 seats

and so on. if you KO someone you move to a table where theres only one person waiting for the next HU match. 1 prize and thats for the winner.

This has a higher confusion factor than a Chillbot Tournament imo.

not that hard to figure out. its a tourney. just every table will be HU. it is a H.U format tourney. winner take all. meaning the winner of the tourney get the prize pool.

Maybe you should consider this format next time. It's a HU challenge that is played all in the same tourney. The winner of (1) round plays the next one in line. The only bad part about this is a player could (and as) accumulate alot of chips quickly if he finishes his matches quicker than the other matches.

This idea is great.
In the German part of this Forum, we thought about it some time ago.

But it must be a turbo tournament. Cause one table could wait a long time to reach the semi-Final HU, when it is in normal time.

But I like to play with you anyhow.

I understand this. What I don't understand is:

- Is it Winner Takes All, irrespective of the number of entrants?

- Do all finished tables pause until every table is finished? Or does each completed table just wait for another table to complete, before pairing up the two survivors?

- Who will qualify for Round 2?

Please don't get me wrong, Gman. I like the idea of a HU MTT, especially amongst forumers. I'll play, I'm just a little confused.

The whole tournament is round 1. I am setting up a tourney for round 2. if theres an even amount of players in this the final table should have an equal amount of chips. winner of the final table gets prize.

I understand that you're doing each round at a time. My thoughts were that you could request a multi-player HU Challenge as a private tourney. That way, you get all of the rounds played within the same couple of hours. It can either be set-up as winner-takes-all, or with SNG payouts, such as Top 3 of 9, etc.

My only problem with your idea is that people may lose interest if it has to carry over from week to week, or day to day.
