Well I must agree with everyone else. I doubt you would brag about your large winnings at other Poker Rooms here at Full Tilt's Poker Forums. It's simply absurd in my opinion. But if you have won that much, I congratulate you sir.
You have a total profit of $4,830.00 here at FTP to date, which is very good, means you are + in profit, not bad at all... Your average profit is $10.00, which again is + profit, not bad at all... You play mostly $20.00 and $30.00 sng games, which is not bad at all... I enjoy playing $50.00 and up, but I enjoy playing $20.00 and $30.00 too... Perhaps you'd like to play sometime?

I am not making this about me. I simply was stating the facts about ian. I know what my stats are. I also only have 66 games under my belt this year. I haven't been playing as much as I'd like to.

Interesting thread, I never really post here but i was curious what people had to say.
Sorry Honest Rob, you cant really compare yourself to Ian because of the small stakes you have played and a smaller sample as well. You can only compare yourself to those who have played similar stakes. Granted you did play about as good as you can so far...but to maintain an ROI above 30 when you start moving up in stakes is difficult (but you could very well be capable). Ian himself has a small sample but it is clear he is a winning player and has a really good stretch. It would be interesting to see where your at after 500 games or so. As far as him being the greatest, 470 games is not quite sufficient (if he played 1500 plus and still managed that he would have a good argument)
Also sharkscope can be misleading in regards to SNG ROI, for example my ROI is 23 but if you take away my heads up matches, your looking at 25 - 27. Nor does it emphasize recent play unless you look on the leaderboards (here I am #5 total on sng from 16-35 dollar range for average profit, and #1 on full tilt ), so in my last 500 SNG's my ROI exceeds 30. |
