|
|
| I have been trying to find it. I don't mind people saying the site is rigged, but we don't need 100 threads about it. Let's try to keep it in one. |

I still think we need an "I'm delusional enough to think the games are rigged" forum that we could dump all of those posts into.
Rick, I know there are a couple things about the RNG and "rigged" theories in "General Questions". If phpBB made merging topics easy, we could have one "RIGGED" thread and the mods could merge new topics into that one thread. |

| So what about freedom of speech you morron. You're gonna lock everybody's topics that you don't like. You're nothing but a bunch of scumbags, who work for full tilt. I mean what are you afraid of? The site is rigged, and by doing that you're only gonna prove I'm right. |

First, the irony of you misspelling "moron" was not lost on me.
Second, freedom of speech applies only to the United States Congress and the making of laws to restrict speech of United States citizens. Since Full Tilt owns this forum, Full Tilt can choose what to allow to be posted and what to remove. If they wanted to delete every post in this entire "Poker Stories" section, that's their prerogative.

No, I'm going to lock rambling topics that add no value to the discussions and those that are posted by whining trolls with no evidence of anything.

I won't speak for the site, but my personal "fear", if you can call it that, is that some new player would see something that says "THE SITE IS RIGGED ZOMG WTF !!!!!111one!!!" and be so put off by it that they choose not to read, post, or join the site because they let fools run rampant.

No, the onus of proof is on you. Telling you to put a sock in it because you make no sense and have no data doesn't prove you're right any more than you posting 2 + 2 = 5 makes it right.
Note the above comments aren't necessarily those of Full Tilt Poker, its management, etc. |

| If I walked into McDonald's, The Gap, Foot Locker, or any other business and started spreading lies I would be removed. I don't think it's asking too much for people to limit rigged posts to he rigged thread. Nobody's saying you can't say it's rigged, just keep it in the appropriate thread. |

There's a little something to think about:
Amidst reports of illegal online gambling in the United States, President Bush ordered a federal investigation, the results of which were published Tuesday. Included in the report were statistics proving several popular online gaming sites, specifically poker websites have a built in "house edge" to increase rake. Party Poker, Paradise Poker, Full Tilt Poker, Ultimate Bet Poker and Poker Stars were all named in the report. The basic idea is that the site makes certain hand combinations more prevalent than others to increase the fees paid to the site. In layman's terms the site will give two players very good cards to entice them to bet more because the more they bet the more the site makes. The sites were thought to be safe because of independent tracking software that monitors the cards but the sites easily fooled the software by balancing out the statistical anomalies on other tables with house(computer programs or employees) players. The FBI is in the process of contacting these companies and shutting them down within the next week. John Tector, an online player says, "I can't believe it, but it does make sense. I mean when I first went on the site I made lots of money but then I lost it all in a two week period."
