| I've been playing with play money and freerolls for quite some time on this site. Before I do I want to understand what all is involved when playing for real money. I live in the US for starters. Are there any good links that layout how FT administers real money games, payouts, rakes/cuts, etc? And what are my options since I live in the US. |

Simply put, how are real money games ran on fulltilt. What are my options to make a deposit into FT, are there any promotions I can get into, etc. Also, when it comes to payouts, what are the options. And since I live in the US, what are the implications of playing for money on FT? My biggest deal is my closest casino is an hour away.

I would suggest if you still can (not sure if play accounts count) go through a rakeback site. I sure would like a little piece of all the rake Ive paid back.
The other thing I would say to you is be prepered to lose at first, play chip play is nothing like real money play and i seriously doubt that most people win right away. GL |

Thanks for the info guys and gals. One more question... if I withdraw winnings, is there a fee from FT for doing so? As far as being prepared to loose, I play in the casino enough so I've had my fair share of wins and losses. Heck, I just lost $400 Friday. Fortunately I win more than I loose so I'm still good . I've just been using FT to practice what I've read / learned, etc. Nothing like testing out your theories for no cash consequence . |

Not if you withdraw via check request or EFT. |

Rakes on tournaments and sngs are posted in the buyin. For instance, it may be a 3 +.30 sng.. $3 is your buyin and the .30 is the rake. Cash games, it depends on the stakes.. High stakes have very low rakes. Low stakes are higher. I think the micro stake rakes are right at 10%. Payouts depend on the tournaments, but it is advertised in the lobby. Typically, unless it is a special event or something, it is based on the number of players who enter. You can look up the payout structure on fulltiltpoker.com. |
