Okay, so here we are frozen out AGAIN. I understand that sometimes things happen that are beyond FTP's control. Maybe, just maybe, if someone from FTP would post an explanation of why the site crashed it might help some of use believe that FTP actually cares about its users.
Even if you lie to us, tell us terrorists blew up your server, or a hurricane blew down a phone line, something, anything, just give us an explanation once in a while.
Or, how about a simple apology???!!! |

As in... What Would Howard Do?
I want to know what the pros think about FTP's policy for paying out in these situations. I can't imagine Howard and Team would like paying folks that got bounced an hour ago. |

that's the point - they DON'T care as long as they keep getting a slice of the action, they'll cut every corner to run a bare-bones server operation as long as the money keeps rolling in.... |

You know, the last two times the system crashed they did send out a notification and apology letter. (Not that that's a solution or makes it 'all better'.)
I think for many companies that are in a service providing field, it is easier not to tell people exactly what went wrong. It gives people ammo for complaints and attacks, and when the same things go wrong too many times, people leave.
Hopefully they get their problems nailed down before too many people lose confidence in them.

You know the really sad thing is that SALTWATERGUY must be right and FTP doesn't care, since I have NEVER seen FTP respond to the complaints.
Has anyone out there ever received a response from FTP regarding these constant network outages? |

Make sure that "announcements@fulltiltpoker.com" is on your white list/safe list/contact list. I had to dig one of them out of my Hotmail Junk folder the first time, which probably means most Hotmail users won't see it in their inbox.

| These crashes are a regular problem that has to be figured out. I am getting sick and tired of them. It is also frustrating not to hear from support. The token tourneys still don't create hand histories, and they have yet to send me any, even though they said they were sending them. Again, I am extremely frustrated. Also, more fish would be nice too. |

The last time I was involved in a system crash.. i received 3 apology emails.. and TEN DOLLARS for the inconvenience..
Anyone else get that?
just wondered...
See for that reason.. if they sent 11,000 members 10 dollars.. that's 110,000... a worthwhile investment to keep their members..
Thanks,
Blum |

FTPs servers are getting overloaded with new players. What, am I the only one who has noticed that the playing field of players here just jumped about 3-4k at any given time?
I'm sure this has a direct effect of all the pros and players wearing FTP gear at the World Series, not to mention TV ads and commercials attracting players to come play with the pros, their selling point.
Give FTP some time to adjust to the sudden influx of new players. They want what we all want. Game time without interruption. They make money, we try to make money, this is the ideal situation for them, so just have some understanding.
I'm not happy about crashes either, but if you want to avoid this sort of thing, then go play brick and mortar. |

| OK.. i've heard news going around they are crediting accounts with 10 dollars that were playing at the time of the crash. I know of a few people who have received there credit and I'm just wondering if this is true for everyone who was playing at the time? |

| I am pretty sure they would let you know if they are going to credit you money. If they didn't then they most likely won't. Depends on how far you were in the tourney and if the money had been made. The couple of times that it has happened to me they have came on and let us know. |
