Yeah, it has turned out to be very light on poker and very heavy on drama/mind games between Duke and Helmuth. I think the concept of having pros critiquing everyday poker amateurs' play has a lot of promise, but this show has failed to deliver in that regard imo. Really it seems like most of their actual poker comments (what few there are) are incredibly biased by being able to see the opponents hole cards as well.
I still find the Duke/Helmuth drama mildly entertaining (if there isn't anything else on), but from a poker standpoint I think this show leaves a good deal to be desired. |
