Out of the 24K gtd. tourney. Lost a good chunk of my below average stack with AK vs TT. Then the very next hand i'm all in. You'd think flopping the nut flush draw and then turning TPTK would be enough......yeah right

| He played the LHE donkament really well. I'm sure that if he played all the tourneys as $24 LHE's, he'd be well in profit by the end. |

Managed to build a stack in this one without any premiums. Then i gave it all away on this hand when i finally flopped something. I needed to fold on the turn raise there i guess. In fact, i played the whole hand wrong on every street. Villian was playing tight, so i had him on two overs after his flop check.
BTW, i had to rearrange the schedule a little too since i have a wedding to go to next weekend. The updates are in the OP.
Still 4 tournies to go. Time to make something happen.

Nice finish, mathman.
A4>AK with a 4 on the river was absolutely sickening.
You win that, you take it down. |

Ugh, i wanna throw up. 5th place is a good cash for us though.
Some donk crippled me halfway into the tournament with his AT after calling my 3bet pf with QQ (A on flop). It wasn't all in yet but he was left with a small amount compared to the pot. Left me with about 1200 chips and the blinds at 150/300. But i battled back, had my chips in with the best of it every time, and managed to survive to the final table. I can honestly say i probably played my best tournament to date here.
Here is the anal rammage hand that ended it: (action in bold lol)

Nice job.
On a side note, is it considered good etiquette to call for your opponent to hit their card? On one hand, I can see how the superstitious (like me) would assume that calling for a certain card would certainly prevent it from appearing, but on the other hand if the card does hit, and you've been calling for it to hit, you just look like an ass.
I will never do it anymore because one time years ago in Vegas I got a smaller stack to commit all his chips with A7 against my AA on a flop of 7xx. I was a huge stack at the time and so before the river I nonchalantly said "aw, go ahead and give the guy a 7". The river was a 7 and my luck turned sour and he ended up taking all my chips an hour later. Shit.
Back to the original question... if it was me in your position I would be irrationally pissed at the railers calling for a 4. I would know in my head that it was completely irrational but I would still be pissed anyway because I like to blame other people. Just seems better not to say anything. |

Those guys are friendly forumers who (I assume) were rooting for Mathman... that's why I was wondering about it. |
