No. The pot at the river before the "hero" calls is 8.75 BB. He has to call one BB to win almost 9. He will win that hand often enough with TP good kicker to come out ahead there. If you are routinely folding TP good kicker to a river bet into that kind of pot you are simply bleeding money. Not to mention as soon as you call the turn raise it's an awful play to fold the river unless it puts four cards of the same suit on the board. |

The turn bet is standard. Calling the raise is situational.
Fold the river, He would need to be a very tricky player to raise the turn and lead out again on the river with a worst hand.
