What? We as a nation came 7th? Funny I didnt see any nations listed on the results. The only English player at the Final Table was John Kalmar, who came 5th, behind an American, a Canadian, a Russian, and a South African - nothing to brag about really. And how many English or even British players have ever won a bracelet? I can only think of one. Pretty unimpressive imo.
Honestly, I'm embarrased to share a nation with you. Why don't you write to the Sun with your baseless idiocy, thats where it belongs.

YEH sounds like u a nobody as well then? personally i dont give a **** but on the other hand $1000 bucks to me would have given my parents a nice little holiday??sounds like if full tilt dont want to tell me who this player is or anyone else for that matter i guess I can quite safely say that it was rigged and i was cheated ...why would you hide thier identity and of course apart from the fact he only played that one event and hasnt played a single game since leaves some imaginable questions to be answered!!!
all i can say is you know when youre being ****! such is life but to be cheated like **** is a different thing!!
all the pros know who to play and who to avoid thats why you never see them playing $2 sit and gos lol,,,,only big cash games or tourneys where there posted with there buddies or friends xxxxxxxx |

1:$1000? it was a $216 buy in event you played two events MAYBE you came out either
864/1215 or 3592/5319 thats nowhere near the money he came out 20/1215 or 3075/5319 why would it be a bot if he doesnt cash in both events? you got sucked out on for $216 not $1000

I am unfamilliar with your usage of "retribution". Is it perhaps a long disused French definition? If the standard definition applies then you are correct. Placing 7th in any contest is a damned odd way to get retribution. Many might even call it losing. |

DEAR ALL,this is how it went............
my hole cards: 8s 8d
"willys" hole cards: As Ks
flop comes: Kd 8h 6s
I raise pre flop,he re-raises,I call,,,..flop comes down....
I then check the flop,"willys" raises ,I reraise him all in ,he calls........
at this point he has top pair of Kings and I have trip 8s he catches another spade on the turn and another spade on the river to give him the flush.......
how inconcievable is it to call an all in 1 pair when I first raised him to start with then check raised him on the flop???this does not make great playing sense.......
firstly I had him drawing dead to either a minority of outs ie a K an ACE or running cards for the flush,and Even if another K had come out id have beaten him with the full house and if an ace came id have done him too...
"willys" is not spelt wrong ,have no idea who he is ,full tilt wont discuss the matter and At the time I had 6000 in chips had I doubled up which was a virtual certainty yes I would have made the money...given the standing of play at that time...
To think that cheating had had actually occurred on ABSOLUTE POKER still fresh in my mind I soon came to the conclusion that its not inconcievable to suggest that It could happen on any site with the right software or manipulating computer hacking devices so widely used throughout the world...whos to say im right or wrong ,you have to make your own minds up!!
but I damm sure I wouldnt have made the move "willys"did that night on 1 pair in such a big event with such a lot at stake......
I think there are too many indifferances to settle this argument and seems either way ive lost ,however I have now shut down my account and other accounts at ABSOLUTE and no longer wish to play poker with REAL money online ......Maybe its a good thing to chipdump on other players or collude to get a random person out pf the game,whatever but thats how it is,Maybe you can call it MONEY LAUNDERING on a high scale,whatever!!!
Anyway good luck LOST OSTRICH whom I first talked about this to when it first occurred........the fact that yes I am from the UNITED KINGDOM probably gave the americans a big incentive to gang up on me !!and in the process lose thousands of pounds ........ |

all i know is i looked up "willys" there is a player named "willyss" he was in the same event as you were in. in fact didnt you play 2 events? he was in both. maybe he went broke since he plays so bad and thats why he hasnt played anymore. i doubt becasue you are from the UK people ganged up on you its probably the fact that its been over a month and its a beat that you cant let go. if you think leaving online poker is best for you thats your decision and it might be a good one since you're not going to be on your A-game thinking about that hand every single time you play. |

thankyou for your reply,yes you are probably right im having a hard time letting that bad beat me,but im no donkey I did play in two ftops events,I didnt do so well in the first one because I jsu didnt get the cards to play with and every time I called I lost but I didnt give up and go all in If I had even less than 1000 chips because its so easy to come back ,and I dont think a lot of players realise this flaw...I also qualified these events by sattlites and In 1 sattlite i outdone Pro Aaron Bartley to gain the spot i so needed in the tourney...
Put it this way its inconcievable to think that they are gonna give me a big win or wsop package or large amount of cash for so very little input......
As im new they gave me a few freebies and free games I genuinely think just to suck me in and play off whatever little money I did have .....
being unemployed and single I thouhght maybe it was a good shot in the dark at trying my best to get out of the hole im in........Ive since taught tried teaching my brothers and friends how to play in poker and they all seem to do preety well now .....YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT THAT NAME ITS "willys" but what gets to me is that he hasnt played a single game yet to date...isnt that at all strange????
anyway Ive since played a lot of tourneys big games ie $250,000 finall on absolute and im also in the OMAHA pot limit ecooop event 9# under AARONLUVSYABABY......gl all and happy playing,,,,,,,,,,, |
