Has anyone else heard of the movie "The Grand"
Heres the trailer for it. Its got a pretty decent cast and it looks like it could actually be a good movie about poker. Comes out March 21

Eh?! This movie looks good ? You gotta be kidding.
First - Ray Romano. His show is awful and he cant act at all. Second, the movie is some kind of idiotic parody of I don't know what actually, maybe real life : there's the guy who plays with his wife and nobody takes care of the kids, the scary German, somebody to imitate Humberto, etc. Besides those allusions to real poker players/plays and the appearance of some other poker pros, I don't see anything interesting in the movie....No thanks, I'd rather watch "21". |
