|
|
many times I have found myself in the final 2-3 players in a SNG that hits the 1 hour point, and many times that I don't want go on a break so I click on the I'm ready button, however, one of my opponents have decided to take their 5 minutes and so I'm stuck waiting.
The problem is, once I realize someone is going to take the break, I'm stuck sitting there because they could come back at any time and with 3 players you can get blinded out pretty fast.
What I suggest is a toggle button that switched between I'm ready and I'm away. The players could change their status at any time and the tournament would only begin early if all players had their status
set to I'm Ready AT THE SAME TIME.
Also you could' easily have the player's name or chip total change to "READY" OR "ON BREAK" or actually have it so that if you hover over the player's name you could see if they are ready or taking the break.
I just hate trying to speed up a tourney then getting screwed and feeling stuck at my PC until someone decides to come back.
Seems like a simple fix that would help a lot of people out.
What do you all think? |

| Its a good idea but the only down side is theres sometimes alot of bashing of the player thats sitting out so know who the player is would probaly increase it |

5 out of 7 are ready.
or X players are still on break. |

I don't think it needs to say anything. Just have a toggle. If everyone is toggled to "Ready" at the same time, the game starts.
I've been dying for this feature. |

| i've done the same thing, click the button then realize not everyone wants to keep playing. so of course, get up to leave then when i get back find out i missed a couple hands. now i state in chat that "i'm in" before i click i'm ready. if not enough people respond i know i'm safe to leave. |

Sure it's a pretty good idea. (I like the "x out of x players are ready" idea under the amount of minutes left in the break.)
But why can't you just wait 5 minutes? Just browse the forum or do something else by your computer until the break is over. Problem solved.
Honestly, if you can't wait 5 minutes for a game to continue by finding something to do, then you don't have enough patience to play poker, imo. |

It's not that I dont mind waiting the 5 minutes, it's just that I dislike the fact that if I exercise my right to skip the break, and someone else decides to go on break, I'm stuck monitoring the table because someone might come back at any minute and I'll get blinded off.
I just dislike that if I wish to skip the break and then someone else doesn't I'm stuck babysitting the table, since it could restart at any time.
I just think it would be much more convienient for everyone, and probably would not be too hard to program. |
