I bet the flop to hopefully slow him down because of the 2-heart flop - assuming he has the same A2 low draw as I do, plus the 3 makes my low draw uncounterfietable.
When that didnt work, could you possible muck to his bet on the flop?
I'm drawing to 3/4 more often than he is, but it's still close, unless he has AA2x or A2 and a set.
Is this a situation where both plays were right? Do you check the flop and allow him to make a pot sized bet at you?
If he flat calls my flop bet, but pushes the turn, I can still make an expensive fold.
Anyone re-push preflop? I cant see him folding with a large stack, and most likely gets you all in blind. |

All the money is going all in with this flop for certain. There may be a little fold equity with a CRAI(easy to say after the fact), but I doubt it given his hand. If he had bare aces and not much else, he may fold on occasion. I think either way, lead out or CRAI is fine.
I don't think I'm jamming here preflop unless against one of the two smaller stacks. |

Flat calling pre is fine considering the stack sizes. You don't want to be shoving here without a significant equity edge or a hand that will play better HU such as AA3 AA2 A2KK etc.
Once you flat this flop is fantastic for you. Nut low + nut flush draw. If he has raised with AAxx or something then putting in a big bet now will make it hard for him. Even when he calls you should have a significant equitty edge.
As it is, he would have liked this flop too, given his nut low and open ender draw. Nonetheless I would be looking to put maxiumum pressure on him here, knowing if I get called I should be in good shape.
Therefore I bet POT on the flop. Committing yourself to the pot is a good idea here for a few reasons.
1) a big bet puts pressure on him
2) you are out os position for the hand so better to get your chips in now in v good shape than let him outdraw you / outplay you on later streets
3) he will sometimes call with worse hands.
As it is getting it in on the flop is great for you.
Here is your equity against his hand...
Omaha Hi/Low 8-or-better: 820 enumerated boards containing 7c Jh 8h
cards scoop HIwin HIlos HItie LOwin LOlos LOtie EV
Ts 3d Ah 2h 290 500 287 33 138 16 390 0.655
As 5d 2d 6h 51 287 500 33 16 138 390 0.345
You're basically a 2-1 favourite and although you got 3/4 this is just a bad beat. Put behind you and move on!
Hope this was of some use.
