I have a question ... or a comment.
It seems that playing in each venue is so different. I can win more at the sit and go's, yet I am terrible at the regular tables. Good hands don't seem to hold up. PLays hold on to just about anything. IS there a method to this maddness?

Yes, there is something of a method to that madness, but sadly it is not a very good method.
Players at SNG's are, for the most part, more interested in the game and testing their skills than those at ring games. Therefore, although you will always have one or two SNG players who don't really care whether they win or not generally you can wait them out and clean up when you have good hands. At ring tables, however, it seems most of the players act as if the money isn't theirs and it therefore doesn't matter whether they win or not (even at real money tables). Of course, in many cases it probably isn't their money, it belongs to their mom and dad. I find I have to play much tighter at a ring table than at an SNG. In fact, I often treat ring play like an MTT, where long-term survival is far more important than immediate results. |

| Another problem I see with the lower limit ring games online, is that players come and go so frequently. It is hard to actually sit with the same group of people for a period of time. This makes it harder to get a feel for the table since it constantly changing. In a SnG you have the same player from begining to end. This gives you a better chance at making reads and knowing which gear to be playing in. |
