okay, so obviously this is the right play, because the guy's odds suck. wtf then? he has **** odds, i tell him to fold basically, he calls, and he wins....and its not a flush draw or anything, he has THREE OUTS!!! **** ftp.

Huh?
I see nothing wrong with his call. After you called his pre-flop raise he probably felt you had a weaker A, maybe AQ, or AJ, but certainly not A9, and definitely not A2. So the only hand he really had to worry about was 99, and if you had that raising all-in would have been incorrect.
You should have folded pre-flop. And you probably shouldn't have played the sng in the first place. My guess is you're pissed because you lost a bigger chunk of your bankroll than you can afford. If your bankroll was over $1000 I doubt you'd be on here ranting. |

Very well put. Your bet looked like a steal, and a weaker ace was certainly a possibility. The best hand ended up winning. Welcome to poker - that does happen sometimes. If you'd won, I doubt you'd be here going "wow, I sucked out so bad on AK - it was awful!" |
