Out in 4th for $300. Not a bad considering I was just getting some practice in for FTOPS. I looked up the final 5 on OPR, and I was the only one who didnt already have >3 FT's in that tourney, so a pretty tough field.

Oh and brag: with bets at 300/600 I had 75 chips. Not a bad recovery.

*BUMP*

After just bubbling the FT and coming 10th due to a hideous suckout a few days ago, I've made it to the FT proper again. It really is about time I won one of these. 2 decent players other than me with bigger chipstacks tho.

Now as long as there's no riggat setup hands, I should be able to steamroller this guy. Blinds are pretty high in relation to stacks tho Sad

EDIT: Well that was great, a 2:1 chiplead turns into a 2:1 the wrong way. All down to purely terrible play. I'm an idiot.

Bump.

Chipleader with 10 left. Everyone is playing really tight, so I should be able to get a few extra chips around the FT bubble. This donkament is almost a licence to print money

Gutted to take 3rd in that one, the guy to my right just picked the right time to run well. I just looked thru my tourney history, and in the $26 LHE tourney, and although I haven't had a win yet, from 20 tourneys I have:

3 Final Tables (2,3,4)
2 Other Cashes (10,16)

>300% ROI

Long may it continue. I think ridic has had more success than me (although I think I will fare better with the new structure) but there's plenty of other forum regs who could make a nice profit on this donkament.

Yeah i'm going to give this tourney a shot twice in my BAP, so we'll see what happens. What do you mean by new structure? Is there already a new structure, or is there going to be in the future?

Grrr, I was all set for another FT (1st of 30 remaining tonight) then AA < KT cost me half my stack on a flop of AQJ, then I got rivered a 3outer after someone put their stack in hideously, so out in 15th.

The new structure is starting with 2000 chips instead of the old 1500. It allows a couple of extra mistakes or suckouts early on, or you can be card dead a bit longer. Only came into effect on Monday I think, but I like it a lot.
