|
|
Hello,
What is the correct bankroll management for Razz ring games? The "Ferguson" way, with 20 buy-ins ( buying in for 22 BB each time) or having 300BB, and then buying in for whatever amount. Personally I feel the 20 buy-in way wrosk for SNGs, but I'm not sure for ring games. |

He's talking about bankroll, not just what you bring to the table.
I'd say anywhere between 300-500 BBs would be fine, depending on how much the money means to you and how much of your bankroll you want to play with. If it's just for recreation and you can just re-deposit if need be, go closer to 300, but if you want to avoid the swings or the money means a lot to you, go towards 500. |

So you would play $2/$4 razz with an $80 bankroll? |

| $2/$4 game...buy-in for $80. The game goes to 7th street, so you need the money in case someone hits two perfect cards against you... |

Bankroll = Total amount you have dedicated to your poker hobby/lifestyle, this pool of money is used for all games/levels.
Buy In = the amount you take with you to play on any given table.
Personally I like to only put 5%-10% of my BANKROLL on any one table as my BUY-IN.
$1000 bankroll would let me buyin for $50-100 for each table. |

When playing razz, i will buy in to the minimum [Bankroll $65] games for $3-$4, but i prefer to play $1 SnGs. when bankroll reaches $150-$200, i will move up a bit[$2-$3 SnGs/$0.50/$1 ring game and so on.
I read Chris Fergusons bankroll# management tips and it was fairly similar to how i do it except instead of leaving a ca$h game at 10% of my bankroll, i would leave at 15-20%.
But, overall i think it is a good way to manage your bankroll |

Iam sorry Rob but that is too tight $1 sng with a 150 to 200 bankroll you should be playing $10 sng with that bank roll. And probably 1 to 2 cash.
Iam a girl and even i must have more balls then you. |

| It doesn't matter how much you buy-in for unless your playing NL razz in a home game |
