i think a sticky here would be good. a sticky that either lists MODS and their AIM names, or simply states that a MOD doesnt have AIM or at least if they do will never contact you through AIM.
i know a few MODs do use AIM or MSN or yahoo and they may not want those names revealed so those would be listed as never contacting people through AIM for trades and the AIM name would not be listed.
listing all the forum pros AIM names may also be helpful, and again those who dont want to reveal AIM names would be listed as never trading through AIM. |

Alot of people don't want their AIM names to be public knowledge. I know I don't.
I'd say if someone is hesitant, have them send a quick PM for confirmation. |

i said the same thing about non mods also, if you dont want your messenger name to be public you just state that you wont contact people through messenger services.
either a persons AIM name is public and therefore cant be impersonated or they are listed as not using AIM and they cant be impersonated. seems to work. |
